We design, plan, and produce programs that support Latino students to be more prepared for the future, develop as a person, and become powerful stakeholders in their communities.
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
One of the main challenges facing Latino youth today is access to educational opportunities. Many Latino students come from low-income families and may not have the resources or support they need to succeed in school. The LSU Education Foundation helps to bridge this gap by providing scholarships and grants to help students afford the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses. ​

In addition to providing financial assistance, the LSU Education Foundation also provides mentorship and leadership development opportunities for Latino students. These programs help students develop the skills and confidence they need to become leaders in their communities and succeed in their future careers. Through workshops, internships, and mentorship opportunities, students learn about leadership, networking, and professional development.

Leadership Development
Our scholarships and grants provide financial assistance to high school and college students to help them afford the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses.
This program positions our community with career counseling, job shadowing opportunities, and internships to help Latino students prepare for future careers.
This program provides workshops and mentorship opportunities for Latino students to develop their leadership and communication skills and prepare them for future careers.
Tutoring and Academic Support
We leverage our access to high-education institutions to provide academic resources and tutoring services to help Latino students succeed in their classes and improve their grades. The foundation also organize educational trips for Latino students in order to expose them to different cultures, historical sites, and educational institutions.

Professional Skills Training
With our larger membership of professionals and alumni of prestigious universities, we have the ability to provide certifications, continuous education, and ongoing skills training to empower our young men by increasing their influence and expanding their technical skills.
Community Mentorship
We bring together mentors that assist our Latino students to be more prepared for the future, develop as a person and learn more about the different cultures around the world. They also give them the opportunity to give back to the community, learn how to handle emergency situations and develop a network of contacts that can help them in the future.
